Mountain Timberframe photography
Feb 19, 2018
catskills , interior design photography , timber frame , windham mountain , preserve window views

My long-time client, Timberbuilt, builds energy efficient timber frames throughout the USA and Canada. Notable projects include Babcock Ranch, America's first solar city.

This project is atop Windham Mountain, a ski resort destination in Windham New York. Since the views are and important feature of the design, plenty of strobes were used to preserve the windows rather than letting them "blow out" from the bright daylight. It's equally important to leave no tell-tale signs that lighting was used. Lighting and editing are executed in such a way to produce completely natural results.
